What TrueTalk Is About
TrueTalk is built on respect, curiosity, and clarity.
We come here to explore ideas, not attack them – to ask, listen, and sometimes even change our minds. Every question, answer, and reflection adds to a shared experiment in understanding.
How to Engage
- Be curious – ask questions that uncover meaning, not motives.
- Be kind – talk to people the way you’d like to be talked to.
- Be honest – speak your own truth, not someone else’s slogan.
- Be thoughtful – before replying, pause and think: “Am I adding light or heat?”
- Be concise – long debates turn into noise – clarity is power.
What's Not OK
We’re here for ideas, not insults. Please avoid:
- Personal attacks, hate speech, or harassment
- Misinformation, manipulation, or false claims
- Spam, promotion, or repetitive posting
- Sharing private or identifying information
- Off-topic comments meant to derail the conversation
- Putting links in your posts
If you wouldn’t say it calmly face-to-face, it doesn’t belong here.
When You Post a Belief
- Share what you really think – not what sounds smart.
- Expect questions – that’s the point.
- Stay open-minded – curiosity goes both ways.
If you’re done, end gracefully. A simple reflection like “I’ve learned from this, thanks for asking” helps close the loop.
When You Ask Questions
- Ask with interest, not interrogation.
- Listen for meaning, not mistakes.
- Never turn curiosity into sarcasm.
- Your tone matters – empathy is the secret ingredient of understanding.
Recognition & Moderation
TrueTalk uses AI-assisted moderation and community recognition to keep things civil. You may earn badges such as: Bridge Builder, Clear Thinker, or Curious Questioner – not for winning debates, but for helping others think deeply.
If something crosses the line, moderators or AI filters may:
- Hide or remove posts
- Send a friendly warning
- Temporarily pause or remove an account
This keeps TrueTalk healthy for everyone.
Our Shared Promise
Every TrueTalk user agrees to help make this space safe, honest, and genuinely curious. Together, we’re proving that disagreement can be respectful, enlightening, and even inspiring.
