- Gut bacteria are controlled by: Diet, Immune system regulation, Chemical environment (pH, oxygen, bile, mucus), Host signaling (hormones, neurotransmitters) Interactions between microbes, Medications and external substances, Genetics.
- Aren't a lot of those controlled by people? So in effect, people are in control? Silent One
